PURPOSE
The purpose of our LGBTQAI+ advocacy program is to champion the rights, well-being, and visibility of Ethiopian LGBTQAI+ individuals. It aims to challenge discrimination, foster acceptance, and create a society where every Ethiopian LGBTQAI+ person feels safe, respected, and valued. By promoting education and awareness, and providing support for LGBTO individuals and communities, this program strives to achieve a more equitable and inclusive society for all.
GOAL’S
1.EDUCATION And AWARENESS:
A key goal of this program is to promote education and awareness about LGBTQ issues within society. By organizing workshops, trainings, and awareness campaigns, it aims to challenge stereotypes, dispel myths, and foster understanding and acceptance. Through educational initiatives, it seeks to create a culture of empathy, respect, and inclusion.
2. COMMUNITY SUPPORT and EMPOWERMENT:
Recognizing the importance of community support,Our advocacy program strives to provide resources, services, and networks that uplift and empower Ethiopian LGBTQ individuals. It aims to establish safe spaces, support groups, and mentorship programs that facilitate personal growth, mental health support, and social connections. By strengthening communities, it ensures that LGBTQ individuals have access to the support they need to thrive.
